Cinzah (New Zealand) just finished his most recent mural for Sea Wall Festival organized by Pangea Seed Foundation in San Diego, California.
This mural addresses the impact of the global shark finning trade on shark populations. An estimated 100,000,000 sharks are killed for their fins every year.
Over the past 15 years shark populations have decreased by 60-90 percent with experts predicting most species to be wiped out within the next 10 years. “Sharks are apex predators that have been around since the age of the dinosaurs, keeping our waters in check and the Eco system of the ocean in balance, without these majestic creatures were in for an uncertain future. Vote with your dollar, don’t support shark fin soup or purchase pseudo-medicine, skin care products or cosmetics made from sharks.”
